Aboriginal Incursions Pty Ltd was proud to bring Aboriginal art, storytelling and cultural connection to the CanvasCon 2026 Australia/New Zealand Expo, creating an engaging experience for attendees through the power of creativity.
As Aboriginal art facilitators, our role was to guide participants through an interactive cultural art experience, introducing them to Aboriginal art concepts, symbols, storytelling and the importance of art as a way of sharing knowledge and connecting people.
Creating Through Culture
The Aboriginal art experience invited participants to explore their creativity while learning about the meaning and significance behind Aboriginal artistic practices.
Through guided painting and storytelling, attendees were encouraged to create their own artwork while developing a greater appreciation for the diversity and continuing cultural traditions of Aboriginal peoples.
Art provides a powerful way to connect people. It can open conversations, encourage curiosity and create opportunities for participants to learn in a hands-on and memorable way.
Bringing First Nations Culture to the Expo
Being part of CanvasCon 2026 Australia/New Zealand allowed Aboriginal Incursions Pty Ltd to showcase how First Nations cultural experiences can be incorporated into expos, conferences, workplaces and community events.
