Terms & Conditions
Understand the terms both we and our clients abide by for all bookings.
Booking T&C's
Bookings
- All bookings must be made in writing (email or booking form) and confirmed by First Nations Education/Aboriginal Incursions pty ltd.
- A booking is not considered confirmed until written confirmation and payment (full or deposit) has been received.
Payment
- Payment terms will be outlined in the booking confirmation or invoice.
- Unless otherwise agreed, full payment must be made prior to the delivery of the Services.
- Payment methods include direct bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
- Late payments may incur additional charges.
Pricing
- Prices for Services are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Travel, accommodation, and materials (if applicable) may be charged separately.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- If a Customer cancels:
- More than 14 days before the event: option to change the date or package
- Between 7‒14 days before the event: cancellation fee involved
- Less than 7 days before the event: full invoice fee of original invoice will be charged
- If the Supplier cancels, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.
Changes and Rescheduling
- Requests to reschedule must be made in writing and will be accommodated where possible.
- Additional costs may apply for rescheduling, especially if travel or accommodation is affected.
Cultural Protocols and Respect
- Customers and participants must engage respectfully with First Nations cultural knowledge, educators, and performers.
- Recording, photography, or reproduction of cultural content is not permitted without prior written consent.
- Sacred, restricted, or sensitive knowledge will only be shared in line with appropriate permissions and protocols.
Intellectual and Cultural Property
- All cultural knowledge, stories, performances, artworks, and teaching materials remain the property of the respective First Nations custodians.
- Customers may not reproduce, adapt, or distribute materials without explicit permission.
Health, Safety, and Environment
- The Customer is responsible for providing a safe and suitable venue for the Services.
- The Supplier reserves the right to stop or cancel a program if safety or cultural integrity is at risk.
Liability
- The Supplier is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from participation in the Services, except where required by law.
- Customers must ensure participants are covered by appropriate insurance (e.g., school, workplace, or venue policies).
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes should first be addressed in good faith through direct communication.
- If unresolved, the matter may be referred to mediation with a mutually agreed mediator.
Governing Law
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia and the state/territory in which the Services are delivered.
Acknowledgement
- By booking with Aboriginal Incursions pty ltd trading as First Nations Education, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
