Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures in The Australian Curriculum

At Aboriginal Incursions we provide opportunities for students to learn about and value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and knowledge in a fun environment with our authentic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators.
The Australian Curriculum sets expectations for what all young Australians should learn, regardless of their background or where they live.

The Australian Curriculum addresses two distinct needs in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education:

First, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to see themselves, their identities and their cultures reflected in the curriculum in each area of learning, to participate fully in the curriculum and to build their self-esteem.

And where the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority is designed for all students to engage in reconciliation, respect and recognition of the world’s oldest continuous living cultures.

We have the experience and programmes you need to develop students who are culturally aware, inclusive and reflective of the rich diversity of Australia's First Nations people, heritage and cultures, with over 20 years' experience of delivering Aboriginal Inclusion in the Australian Curriculum in public and private schools of all types.
