Ralph Lauren Workshop

Ralph Lauren Connects with Aboriginal Culture Through a Paint Your Own Boomerang Experience

Aboriginal Incursions Pty Ltd was honoured to partner with Ralph Lauren to deliver an authentic Aboriginal cultural experience through an engaging Paint Your Own Boomerang workshop as part of NAIDOC week celebrations.

The interactive session offered the Ralph Lauren team the opportunity to learn about the world’s oldest living culture while participating in a meaningful, hands-on cultural activity. Guided by Aboriginal cultural educators, participants explored the significance of the boomerang, the meaning behind traditional Aboriginal symbols, and the importance of storytelling, connection to Country, and the enduring traditions of Aboriginal peoples.

As each participant painted their own boomerang, they discovered how Aboriginal art is used to share stories, preserve knowledge, and celebrate identity. The workshop created an inclusive and welcoming space for learning, encouraging curiosity, respectful conversations, and a deeper appreciation of Australia’s First Nations cultures.

The experience highlighted the value of cultural education within the workplace, bringing colleagues together through creativity while strengthening cultural awareness and understanding. Activities such as these help organisations build more inclusive workplaces by encouraging meaningful engagement with Aboriginal culture beyond significant calendar events.

Aboriginal Incursions Pty Ltd is proud to work alongside organisations like Ralph Lauren to deliver authentic cultural experiences that educate, inspire, and create lasting connections. Through workshops such as Paint Your Own Boomerang, participants leave with not only a personalised artwork but also a greater understanding of the rich histories, cultures, and continuing contributions of Aboriginal peoples.

We sincerely thank the Ralph Lauren team for their enthusiasm, respect, and genuine commitment to learning. It was a privilege to share culture together, and we look forward to continuing to build meaningful cultural connections with workplaces across Australia.
