About Cultural Learning Workshops
Australian Aboriginal Art and Culture Workshops promote education and understanding of the values, history, beliefs, and future of Aboriginal communities.
Our Indigenous facilitators guide your team through the meanings of ancient symbols and deities from the time of creation while sharing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander knowledge that fosters deeper cultural understanding – all as you create your own Dreaming Art masterpiece.
Through our workshops, your organisation, staff, students, or event participants will gain respect for Australia’s traditional custodians and the rich culture that has sustained them for thousands of years. These art sessions are a fun and culturally engaging team-building experience.
Choose from our Art on Canvas or Paint Your Own Boomerang workshops to explore Dreaming stories, local landmarks, and regional significance – with storytelling, language, and plenty of surprises to keep your team inspired.
For a longer experience, our Rotating Indigenous Culture Workshop offers a 3-hour journey through land, weapons, waterways, native animals, food sources, and ancient rituals. Enjoy didgeridoo and Torres Strait drumming, learn traditional dances, and create your own artwork to take home.
We cater to groups of any size – from small workplace teams to large public events with thousands of participants – and can host workshops at your venue or recommend great local spaces nationwide.
We also work with Australian and international tour groups, cruise ships, and public and private sector organisations, having delivered thousands of Aboriginal cultural immersions across the country.
"The Aboriginal Incursions Facilitators (Billie & Honey) were amazing and very informative, teaching us a lot about Aboriginal culture and the significance and meaning behind what we were doing."
