Paint Your Own Boomerang

Paint your own Boomerang is a fantastic art experience for individual students of all ages to create their own dreaming keepsake.

This workshop features a First Nations educator who will run the 30 – 45min experience.

Our Aboriginal art workshop which teaches the meanings of ancient art symbols from dot painting to cross hatching, X-ray art, animal totems. And importantly the importance of community and connectivity to country.

Students will also learn about traditional Aboriginal body painting with ochres and their meanings along with traditional song-lines that connect the land and the people.

Our amazingly talented Aboriginal educators will create a happy and entertaining environment for students to learn about the importance of Aboriginal symbols and their meanings and create their own Australian Dreaming on 25cm to 30cm ready to paint Boomerangs.

We supply all materials including decorative Boomerangs, paints, brushes and Aboriginal symbol sheets.

    Structure will be depending on students numbers
  • From $1500+GST for a school or stage group of 100 students
  • From $2900+GST for a school or stage group of up to 110-300 students
  • From $4500+GST for a school or stage group of up to 310-450 students
  • $6500+GST for a school up to 460-650 students
  • $8500+GST for a school up to 470-850 students

Complete our Booking Enquiry form here, in which we request up to 3 of your preferred dates for the workshop and our office will respond with further details and options for your event.

You will need to have one area of the school you will use that will comfortably fit the group/groups. Have the tables ready and protect the tables with disposable table cloth as this activity gets very messy!

Yes the school is welcome to take as many photos and film on the day for use of the schools memorabilia and folio only.

The more notice you give us the better, however, we are able to service last minute bookings! Best approach is to call on 0403 313 829 if it’s a short turnaround request.

Firstly if there are 600PAX students participating in this experience we will ask you to divide the 600 into 7 groups, so there should be 85-86 PAX per group. We will ask that you keep the groups in their stages, however if you need to mix some stages to get even numbers then please do so. My educator should see 7 different groups and repeat his/her session 7 times. The student will participate in a 30-35 minute experience. So my educator will do 7 x 30-35 minute sessions.
