A Captive and Educational Incursion that Creates a Unique and Intimate Learning Experience.

Our most affordable package. One First Nations Educator to visit offering a 45 – 60 minute, meaningful and engaged experience.

Our next Incursion fits the smaller budget, smaller schools and we include culturally important rituals, knowledge and song-lines, song and dance, showcase important Aboriginal tools, communicate Aboriginal symbols in art and demonstrate the importance of community and understanding.

This package consists of :-

Didgeridoo Show and Storytelling
Artefacts, Weaponry, Bush Survival
Aboriginal Face Painting
Aboriginal Song and Dance
Aboriginal Art (On Canvas – optional and additional fees apply from $500)
Boomerang Throwing (weather and space permitting)
Torres Strait Island (subject to availability)

We supply all materials
Educators – 1 Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island facilitator
Duration – 45 – 60 minutes
Structure will be depending on students numbers

From $1900+GST for a school or stage group of 20-200PAX students
From $2800+GST for a school or stage group of 210-350PAX students
From $3800+GST for a school of 360-600PAX students

For schools over 600PAX students enrolled, please contact our office as a 2 day will be required.

Aboriginal Incursions and First Nations Cultural Education provided our students with an outstanding learning experience. How do I book Umbarra Dreaming – (Yuin Totem Black Duck)?

Complete our Booking Enquiry form here, in which we request up to 3 of your preferred dates for the workshop and our office will respond with further details and options for your event.

Do you require the school to provide anything?

You will need to provide one area of the school that you will use that will comfortably fit the group, like the schools’ hall or a nice outdoor area if it is good weather. 20-30 witch hats or cones for the boomerang throwing. If booking the canvas Aboriginal art activity you will need to provide 6 trestle tables support the canvas.

How many students can your educators take at one time?

Our Educators take up to 200PAX students at a time however, if your school has 600PAX students for example the best way to deliver this experience is to divide the 600PAX students into their 4 stage groups There should be 150PAX per group and my one educator visiting should see 4 different groups and he/she will repeat their session 4 times, so 4 x 45 minute sessions. The fee in this scenario is $3800+GST without the art activity.

Are photos and filming allowed?

Yes the school is welcome to take as many photos and film on the day for use of the schools memorabilia and folio only.

How much notice do you need in order to book?

The more notice you give us the better, however, we are able to service last minute bookings! Best approach is to call on 0403 313 829 if it’s a short turnaround request.
